well as its famous Aran Jumpers. Also close by is Blarney Castle
where you can get the gift of the gab by kissing the Blarney Stone.
The Jameson Distillery in Cork has a heritage centre dedicated to
this well known and old brand of whiskey. A tour of the distillery
comprises a history of brewing and the Jameson family and ends with
a tasting test. Within easy driving distance is Cobh which was the
last stop before Titanic met its end and also the last stop for
millions of Irish Emmigrants sailing to America. The 'Titanic'
Heritage Centre in Cobh provides a fascinating history of the famous
ship. |
