Bloomsday Festival - May
The Bloomsday Festival is usually held in May each year, a celebration of the life and literary works of James Joyce. You can enjoy several tours along the way, to follow Joyce's  footsteps around Dublin, explore the development of Joyce's work, Ulysses. Visit the college where Joyce attended, the James Joyce Centre and the home of Leopold & Molly Bloom or take a James Joyce Bus Tour around Dublin.

Dublin Dance Festival - May
Dublin Dance Festival is held in May and is a celebration of International dance held at the Grand Canal Theatre with artists and performers coming from all over Europe and North America and the festival will include outdoor events, workshops, film screenings and lots of other events.

Dublin Horse Show - August
Dublin Horse Show held in August always attracts large numbers of visitors. Dublin Horse Show offers competition such as International, National Jumping and Hunt Chase competitions. With over 300 stands with everything from books to jewellery  there is something for those who wish to take time out from the horse riding and competitions.

Dublin Bay Prawn Festival  - April
Dublin Bay Prawn Festival will take visitors around the Howth area exploring the wonderful local food and drink available.  Join in the Scampi trail, sampling food and drink as you go, with Howth offering the best local Prawns available, served up in many different wonderful dishes. There will be many cookery demonstrations, pub entertainment, traditional fishing skills demonstration, hill walks and more.

Festival Under the Clock Rathmines - April
The Rathmines Festival "Under the Clock" held in April by the Rathmines College.The line up includes artist's such as Liam Ó'Maonlaí , John Spillane, The Toby Reiser Quartet, Cora Venus and many more.

Jameson Dublin International Film Festival - February
Jameson Dublin International Film Festival held in February all over Dublin City Centre cinema's, with premier feature films being shown during the month of February.

 Ulster Bank Theatre Festival - September October
Ulster Bank Theatre Festival held in September is a show case for national and international theatre in Dublin City centre. Hosting over 300 performances in 20 venues from several different countries it is a very busy festival in Dublin.
