Fermanagh with Lough Erne on
its shores makes it a very
popular spot with fishermen,
and canal users and the area
is mainly agricultural based.
Lough Erne is made up of the
Lower and Upper Lough Erne
with the Upper Lough being
just a number of small rivers
travelling between land and
peninsulas, it is the Lower
Lough Erne that is the largest
section of the Lough, on which

turrets of the Watergate, the
outside of the castle, and the
15 century Castle Keep,
Enniskillen Castle now houses

Museum.
Devenish Island on Lough Erne
attracts a lot of visitors to
see the Romanesque
church and a 12th century
round tower, crosses and the
Priory Church.
Castle Coole
also in Enniskillen is a
magnificent
neo-classical house
set on 700 acres of parkland.
