Enniscorthy Castle built in the 13th century is situated in the heart of Enniscorthy town. This Norman castle dates from 1205 and was a private dwelling until 1951. Has been ‘home’ to Norman knights, English armies, Irish rebels and prisoners, and local merchant families and now visitors to the castle. It depicts the story of Enniscorthy town through the eyes of the castle, and how both have developed over the centuries. It is open 7 days a week and has an admission fee of €6 per adult.
St Aidan's Cathedral, Enniscorthy, County Wexford was designed by the Victorian architect Augustus Welby Pugin (1812 – 1852) and opened in 1872. It is very similar to the Cathedral in Killarney. It is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ferns and mass is held here dail at 10:00 am.
Enniscorthy Riverside Walk is a very scenic walk along the bank of the River Slaney in Enniscorthy town. This linear trail is a 3km (6km round trip) and begins at the promenade walk at the southern end of Enniscorthy town.

Local fauna include badgers, otters, frogs, swans, geese, goldfinch, thrush and heron.
